Snakes on the line

If you're a friend of mine and you've recently received what sounded like a personalized phone call from Samuel L. Jackson, then I'm sorry you had to find out this way — but it wasn't real.

The official website for the movie Snakes on a Plane is now featuring computer-generated voice greetings from the snake slayer himself, Samuel L. Jackson. Just when you thought this film's viral marketing campaign couldn't get any better, people can now send the person of their choice an email or phone call from Jackson, ordering them to go see his movie — or else. The voice message includes some surprisingly seamless personalized touches based on information you provide, including the person's name, career, hobbies, and method of transportation (oddly, "plane" is not an option).

Where are they now? Why they're on the phone!
If a phone call from Samuel L. Jackson isn't enough for you, you now also have the option of ordering a live phone call from any number of forgotten famous people for the low price of just $19.95 US each.

Wondering if Skippy from Family Ties ever got his head unstuck from the Keatons' banister? Give Marc Price a call. Are you in the mood to hear someone yell that iconic Seinfeld catchphrase "no soup for you!"? Contact Larry Thomas. Or maybe you've been dying, for twenty years now, to ask Willis from Diff'rent Strokes "what chu talkin' 'bout?" Then why not order yourself some Todd Bridges! Just don't get too disappointed when the celebrity of your choice has "Unavailable Today" marked as their call status.

They have lives, you know.
