‘Mad Men’ to hit CTV

Mad MenThe critically acclaimed AMC series Mad Men will be joining CTV’s mid-season lineup.

Set in 1960’s New York City, and including the social mores and attitudes of the time, the one-hour series explores the lives of Madison Avenue ad men.

This year, Mad Men landed on dozens of “Best of” TV critics lists, including Entertainment Weekly, The Toronto Star and The Globe and Mail.

CTV is aggressively adding original shows to its lineup, as it will be affected by the lack of U.S. programming to simulcast, due to the on-going U.S. writers’ strike.
