Actor Brad Renfro, best known for his roles in The Client, Apt Pupil and Bully was found to have died of an accidental drug overdose.
Renfro, 26, was found dead in his Los Angeles apartment on Jan. 15. Following an autopsy, the L.A. County Coroner's office announced on Feb. 8 that the actor died of "acute heroin/morphine intoxication."
The actor had struggled with drug addiction for over a decade, an affliction that was made first made public in June 1998, when Renfro was pulled over by police who found cocaine and marijuana in his pants and socks.
After Renfro's death, it was revealed by his family that he had fathered a child, and that the mother and child lived in Japan.
