CBC has renewed the popular reality show The Week the Women Went for a second season.
Tatamagouche, a fishing village in northern Nova Scotia, has been chosen as the setting for the next social experiment. The eight-part program observes small town men as they cope with managing children and household duties, while their women are whisked away for seven-days of fun and relaxation.
Production for the new instalment begins in September and is scheduled to air on CBC Television in January.
The first season of the show was set in Hardisty, a small town in east-central Alberta.
